 Happy New Year to all and sundry! Despite the fact that another 2 billion people got Kindles and Ipads this Holiday Season, we at the Amalgamated Bookstores Known as Grey Matter and Troubadour (ABKAGMAT--not much of an Acronym) are looking forward to 2012. The year is off to a strong start, and even if business goes south, all we have to do is get to next December, when the whole world-system will collapse anyway.

We are (cautiously) buying again, and are especially in need of film, art and hard science books.

Bob is still recovering from his procedure last month, the success of which seems dubious at this writing. But he is expected back in the second or third week of January, and has tentatively agreed to appear in an upcoming video for this website.
